Fair enough but for the record I was excited prior to this game and have stated I'm excited for the changes Kirk has made. I understand western mich is not a good football team but we've lost to inferior competition and we put a bigger beating on the broncos than either sparty or the cats. I think we'll compete well moving forward but I felt that way before this game.

While he oski was a nice positional bait job by Miller, the play that impressed me the most was a 3rd / long overthrow by WMU QB ... the ball landed with both safeties and one corner breaking up towards it. In other words, they kept the ball in front and, if it would have been caught, it most likely would have been dropped / fumbled upon the hit.

I have given the safeties plenty of crap this year. Today they were in the right places all day. They, along with the rest of the team seem to be getting better. I hope they continue to prove those of us who criticized them wrong 9 more times this year.
