Iowa has given up 8 pass plays of over 30 yards in 3 games. That's all you need to know about Iowa's safety play. There's no gray area, it's been awful to the surprise of nobody.
I keep trying to figure out why people think law did good or even ok last year. Yes he can hit hard but I saw him out of position more than miller in the games he played. He was terrible in coverage and got fooled by play action a lot. Lowdermilk has actually played well. He got burnt a couple of times but he hasn't played badly. In fact the corners have kind of hurt him as they have missed their assignment in some cover 4 and 2 and left him on an island where he had to cover multiple receivers. Miller is still not great but I have yet to see anyone sub in for him that has played as well as him. And contrary to popular belief the coaches haven't blindly played miller. They have benched him at times through his playing career and each time they do the sub screws up worse.

I think that one receiver today would argue tanner miller hits hard. And I don't think him or lowdermilk were out of position today. It is amazing how much easier it is to defend the wr/te routes when there is pressure on the QB.
Saftey's did look good today. Got to give them credit for that.
Not to downplay anything but Western Michigan has been the worst team we've played all year.
Even Kirk Ferentz looked good coaching today which is very unusual... *insert sarcasm for last statement*
I'm confident that people want him to play simply to use and start puns with his name.
He makes a big hit and he is "laying down the Law".
He gets beat on a route that player "broke the Law".
If he is having a solid season and becomes a leader he "enforces the Law'.
Nico Law, here to serve and protect.
He works a player and they say the player just went to "Law school".
And they'd go on and on and on. So, beyond catchy puns, I haven't really seen a whole lot. I'm sure he is a good kid, just hasn't shown a lot.
For those who criticize Miller, you have to give him props for his play today!
Yeah, and consider the competition.
you are so against the coach you can't even give credit to the team for completely dominating their opponent. You lose credibility when you we so sided one way.
Read my posts from today. I gave credit. It's dumb to get all up on our team for blowing out a very, very bad d-1a team. I know you won't read anything else I wrote from today so I'll say one thing I said in another post: "Iowa is a good team if they beat minnie next week." You lose credibility when you get all emotional when your team beats up one of the worst teams in the country.
