That possession with about 1:30 to go was the killer. Nobody wanted to shoot the ball. It was playing right into Rutgers' hands.

If Iowa doesn't find it's 3 point shooters it doesn't matter how many points Keegan scores. Iowa has got timid on their 3 point shooting, if they continue to press forget about the tourney or a winning record.

This game is the reason why teams from the Big rarely make the final four anymore. Both teams would have fouled out their starters by halftime. Bumping on every play, cut, or drive and they call a non-touch foul to decide the game.

Damn. Sad. Iowa won’t play an offensive game that bad but once in a blue moon. Iowa…great defensive and rebounding effort. Great job by the Iowa guy whose name escapes me. Philip something or other? The touch foul call by the ref at the end was really poor judgment. Let the kids play the game. Jabo’s shooting a complete mystery. No help from subs tonight. Keegan really off his game. That was probably the difference. In all fairness he did play excellent D and rebounded well. Forget this one and beat up on PSU on Sat. Then ambush Purdue.

Fran was pretty calm in responses but he got his point across. Keegan got fouled on the catch but of course that wasn't called.

Horrible shooting night for the Hawks, but they were getting mugged on every possession, and then the refs decide the game on the softest of touch fouls as time expires. Total horseshit.
