Iowa may score first but Iowa won't have more than 3 scoring drives. Most Iowa PSU games have a safety and a blocked kick. So the score could be odd.
I think PSU wins comfortably. Not sure I want to watch. Hope I'm wrong.

With the weather conditions there wont be much passing or FG kicking...6-2 PSU. Iowa gets a safety and PSU get a score missing the PAT. Iowa misses 27 yrd field goal into the wind as time runs out.

Winds are supposed to calm alot toward sunset. Also since they closed in the north end and raised it I don't think it will be as bad as in past. Will be out of the northwest.

The hawks have to stop PSU rush and get after the qb, if not PSU will score a lot as I watched the PSU Pitt game and PSU has some fast receivers and running backs but that game was in heavy rain and wet turf which is why it was low scoring. I cant remember if Penn St used a lot of fullback in the run game
The first qtr of that game PSU's front 4 and lbkrs were getting to the pitt qb but then Pitt righted their blocking and Pitt moved the ball much of the rest of the game. Pitt threw for 372 but couldnt run the ball .
But Iowa needs to try to run the ball, stay balanced, and if the hawks pass protection holds up maybe they can throw for 250 or so.
And this was the game where the Pitt coach made a pretty stupid decision at the end that might have changed the outcome so PSU is not unbeatable by any means.
I see this as a 50-50 game and hope the hawks make more plays and get some good bounces

These are amateur athletes that are 18-22 years old. There is no reason to blame the players. They should be put into situations where they can succeed. If your Guards can't figure out who to block on a blitz, that is the coaches fault. If your RB can pick up a blitz, the coach did not teach him very well. If your QB cannot figure out when to throw it away, that is poor coaching.
Pro players I have no proble with a coach calling them out. That is their job and they are being paid a lot of money and should know more things than a college player.
Coaching makes a big impact on the college game, as does lack of coaching.
