Iowa @ OSU game thread

Iowa playing very solid D.....May with a big 3!

Iowa leads 10-9!

If we can keep OSU from the fast break points we have a shot.

OSU now up 11-10 after a quick 2....Iowa turnover and another easy 2. Darn fast breaks points are KILLING US. 4 Iowa turnovers now.
 
Gatens struggling with his passing today. He was a bit frustrated after the last TO. Interesting no subs almost 9 minutes into the game.
 
They are not shooting well at all. Turner has been all kinds of off with his shots so far.
 
Gatens really makes me shake my head. He seems to be regressing a little. Sophmore slump? His decision making needs to improve.
 
We are the most easiest team to guard in the NCAA. We just stand on offense and nothing. WOW this is what we are paying for? I say a coaching change is needed.
 
I hear how complicated lick's system is, but all I see is a lot
of standing around. I wish they would move more and look
to get open.

Agreed. Gatens may be trying too hard to make things happen. He may be feeling the pressure and it's understandable. His ankle may still be a bit of an issue. I think he will still make plays that make a difference.
 
John L and Cougill in. Nice take by May from the corner. Good extra pass by OSU to draw the foul on May.
 
15-10 Buckeyes lead. Iowa needs a bucket and May comes through. This kid continues to grow up. 15-12 with under 10 to go.

Another easy 2 for OSU and foul called, ft missed. 17-12
 
turnover 6 (feels like 15) and Turner dunk.

Getting into a very important period, we cannot let this get out of hand. Gatens throws one up as shot clock expires, no good.
