Ill be out in vegas this weekend so I hope it stays at -1 when I finally get out there because Im gonna hammer that line

I will be shocked if that -1 holds. But you never know. Davidson is going to struggle to score against our length on the perimeter. They are going to struggle against our size inside. They are going to struggle if we press.

Iowa has already moved to -2 or -2.5 in some places.

We've seen this before, dominate match up inside, foul trouble is bound to happen for Davidson, and they won't be used to the length thrown at them on the perimeter. Iowa will most likely win by 12+

Davidson's only saving grace would be if they're really good at forcing turnovers, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Iowa struggles to score period no matter how much size advantage they have over anybody.....Guards are what win the the tourny and Davidson has them and Iowa doesn't.

I like Iowa as well.

All of Davidson's wins against tourney teams were on their home floor.

They just lost by 20 on a neutral floor to another 7 seed VCU. Granted, we probably don't want to be judged by our last performance either.

Davidson likes to play a high scoring game and that plays right in our hand. We struggle when we score 65 or less. Shouldn't be a problem to get 75-80 on these guys.

Iowa's length makes up for their lack of quickness and athleticism. You will see something similar to the Indiana game where they mix in 2-3/3-2 zone to slow them down. Davidson will spread the floor and if their guards are able to get into the lane and kick it out to shooters, getting clean looks, then Iowa is in big, big trouble.

I agree with trj, if Davidson can penetrate and kick, Iowa is in trouble. However, if Iowa plays tough D, they should win comfortably.

On offense, look for Iowa to get the ball inside and get to the line. Iowa also needs to hit some 3's to open things up.

You take the Indiana game plan and use it against Davidson. Davidson doesn't have the athletes at G that Indiana does (Ferrell, Blackmon, Williams). Indiana shot better from 3 pt. land than Davidson did and Iowa allowed 10 3 pointers to them and let them shoot 40% from 3 point land and still easily handled Indiana.

Just do what you did against Indiana.

I would agree that Davidson doesn't have the athletes that Indiana does on the perimeter. Davidson, however, is a much better coached team offensively than is Indiana. Davidson likely won't stand around and do nothing for 25 seconds against Iowa's zone.

Can't wait until Friday. Ready for Iowa to get a NCAA win for the first time since 2001.
