First game is still working out roster, depth chart and fundamentals. KF treats it like NFL preseason. Worst possible scenario is to get a big lead. Best possible scenario is running against 8-9 man fronts. Really almost lucky if they win these games.

My 8-4 prediction is looking accurate. Looks like we are going through the motions. Same old Iowa. Bad 3rd and long defense. Loose coverage. Scherff (Sheriff) looks just ok. We simply don't look that good. Horizontal passing. Should have picked up that 4th and short sneak.

I'm hoping Kirk opens up the offense a lot. I'm hoping he's conservative because he's trying to get a feel for the team.
