I knew I shouldn't have yelled at Hightower the last few minutes of overtime in the last game vs Michigan. Dude is making us pay.

I know Lavin has to say something about Iowa and how they show flashes and have a couple nice pieces, but does it seem to anybody else that maybe he is thinking that he could do something with Iowa basketball?

Just to affirm my incredible bball IQ, I cut-n-paste my post from the following thread, earlier this week for everyone's reading enjoyment and enlightenment:)

Continue the ridiculous man-man mismatch on him and he gets at least 14 in 1st half -- 29 for the game. So, at least he does not outscore Hawks.

Now, (cue hell freezing over) make a coaching adjustment and playing a little basic 2-3 zone -- to pack it in and make the worst 3-pt % shooting team in the Big11 beat you from the outside -- and you might actually contain him and have a punchers chance at making it a competitive game.

Of course, all that is mute if Payne continues to launch passes into the seats / thru the heart of the defense not happening, or if Cole continues to alternate between garbage points, fumbling the entry pass and shuffling his feet umm, still happening or if Gatens continues to be incapable of hitting an open jump shot to save his lifeumm, still happening.

It's really over if Fuller gets in foul trouble, early. Happened but realized he had to play through it and must be on the floor for Hawks to have a chance.

So no one else has to start a thread that is the 157th version of "Who will be Iowa's next coach?" ... it is me.

And that is truly "jaw-dropping"! :)

Your BB IQ towers over most people on here, including mine.
 
Iowa's 2010 BB class is ranked #26 in the nation per ESPN.

I've remains steadfast that they were a Top 30 class.

that's assuming they all come to Iowa.
