I didn't say no one can talk about ISU's schedule. It's full of cupcakes, I admit that. I don't think they are entirely two different topics, either. They are related. Iowa's schedule is soft AND their results are bad. ISU's schedule is soft BUT they are taking care of business decisively, like teams should with cupcakes.

Just thought it odd that Jon would bring up ISU's schedule in this thread about Iowa hoops. Iowa's schedule isn't exactly difficult either, and the results aren't very good either.

Honestly, you're right, Iowa State is for real! They are going to breeze through then non-con and with Fred Hoiberg and their underrated players I can see them competing for a Big 12 title. 25 wins should be attainable. And if ISU loses to Iowa this season, that would be the absolute worst loss in Iowa State history and Fred Hoiberg should be fired on the spot - no excuses. This is the worst Iowa team Iowa State will ever play.

ISU will finish with around a .500 record, which will be a good accomplishment considering the circumstances of late.

I think they will lose in IC, too. They will take their lumps this year, but I didn't expect them to be playing as well as they are at this point, so that's good. Any time you're 5-0, it's good.

That wasn't the point. It was that you were denigrating ISU's schedule, when in reality, Iowa's isn't much (if any) better, and they aren't beating the cupcakes like ISU is.

I fully expect ISU to have many bumps in the road this year. Finishing .500 would be huge.

Any insults about ISU's schedule to this point are laughable, though, in relation to Iowa's schedule. You can't lose to the Jackrabbits and talk schedule smack, IMO.

I'll try one more time, then I give up.

A) I found it funny that Jon brought up ISU's schedule in a thread about Iowa basketball.

B) I found it funny that he was denigrating ISU's schedule when Iowa's is not much better, if at all better.

C) I added that not only was Iowa's schedule not tough, they were struggling with said schedule.

I wasn't arguing about anything. Just observations. You guys turned it into an argument.
