Iowa lands Daniels

Nice scouting report on Daniels:
Center may not be the most glamorous position on the field, but it’s arguably one of the most important and there may not be another position on the offensive line that is as important. Yet, someone who is ranked as the number four center in this recruiting class by at least two major recruiting sites is only a three star player.
That doesn’t exactly add up to me. Regardless of his star rating, James Daniels is one of the best center prospects in the nation. He is going to end up being a very good player at the college level at a very important position. Daniels plays nastier than a lot of centers. There aren’t a lot of centers pancaking players at any level.
Daniels is rated as the #4 Overall Center by Rivals and ESPN, #9 by Scout, #13 by 247.

He committed to Iowa because he wanted to practice playing in black and yellow - dude is the next Dermoniti Dawson and Maurkice Pouncey. Gonna be a pro bowler for sure.

No doubt. #4 Center in high school going to a program that can turn him in to the #1 Center in college football. Smart kid.
I bet that burns ole Urban. He has a good history of recruiting/developing centers. Those twin brothers he had at Florida come to mind. To lose Daniels in his back yard has to hurt. Being the 4th rated one in the country with the offer list he has is pretty dang good. Shooting 50% for stealing stud recruits out of Ohio isn't too bad for us. The sky might not be falling afterall

Where we at on d line?
It says 6'4" and 270 pounds, but I measured him myself and he is only 6'1" and 205 pounds. Coaching staff should be fired.

Love it. Cyclone fans are bragging about beating Iowa for a recruit while we celebrate beating the biggest and best of the true blue bloods of college football. And Cyclones wonder why they are called "little brother".

I have no idea. But they throw parties and get a power trip over beating us for a recruit. Iowa fans don't care when we land a recruit over Iowa State. Common sense that beating out Alabama and Ohio Stste for a recruit says a lot more. As long as they can say "we beat Iowa!" they are proud. Then again, with Cyclone fans common sense and logic does not exist.
