Iowa is a lock for the dance

Iowa will probably go; 2-1, BTT 2-1, NCAA, 2-1.

However, it is a real possibility that they win 3 games in one or two of those remaining sets.
 
I think we need to beat Purdue & Illinois (who is playing exceptional right now) and we're in no sweat. If we lose the last 3 we've played ourselves onto the bubble and would likely need 2 wins like last year in the tournament to make it in. I think beat Purdue lose the last 2 then win one tournament game and we're in. I think with our BPI/RPI and 21 wins it would be tough to keep us out.

I would take Jerry Palm's knowledge over anyone out there. If he says we're in then we're in no matter what

Here is what your looking at..

Iowa would be 19-13 and finished 8-10. Iowa RPI would be mid 50's. Iowa would have lost 7 in a row.

That is EXTREMELY BUBBLY!! I don't want that in the hands of a committee.

Iowa won't lose out so it doesn't matter....but if they did they would still be in the tournament. Look at what Minnesota did last year
 
If Iowa doesn't start playing defense they won't beat anyone. I'm still disgusted with how many points we gave up to the terrible offenses of Minnesota and Indiana.
 
I would be shocked if Iowa didn't make it, even if they lose out (which I doubt will happen). But crazier things have happened I guess.

Minnesota if I recall had very high RPI and Top 5 SOS.. Iowa would be going in the opposite direction of that.

All that said it will be a mute point because Iowa isn't losing out. Here is how I see things with 2 or 3 wins we a lock and a 5th or 6th seed. With 1 win we are 8 or 9 seed.

Absolutely. I just hope Purdue is not the third straight team whose offensive woes we cure.
 
that win helped solidfy things but we need to win a couple more to erase all doubt.

Our RPI sucks and the committee loves RPI
 
If we miss the tournament with only 1 or 2 losses outside the top-50 because of RPI (which is worst case scenario) that would be really ******* stupid.
 
If we can beat Illinois we'll be a lock. We should be fine as things stand now, but avoiding a home loss to a non-NCAA tourney team would make me feel a lot better.

RPI...sucks? Is it not low 40's or upper 30's That is lock status sir.
Last year we were in the 70's. Big difference.
