Iowa - Iowa St 11am kick on FSN

The main reason I hate when this game is in Ames is because the lack of TV coverage it is guaranteed to get.

Joke of a conference TV package. :D

Is Fox Sports Net a regional channel or will this game be nationally televised on all FSN affiliates?

I doubt it is on all FSN affiliates as they tend to do regional games. Hopefully one of channels here in FL will pick it up. That or go to DirectTV and buy their full coverage for couple months.

I see your location is Chicago, so Comcast is usually the one that has this, however Comcast is also suppose to show a Cubs game that day so who knows what channel it will be on.

Phack! I don't think I get FSN with my current package through DirecTv unless I purchase a sports package. Guess I'll just try to get hillside seats like the last time they played in L'Ames.

Watching the game at the Front Row would be a better option then sitting on a hillside.

How many 11am start times are we going to have this year?

Also, don't pay money to go to Lames, you will be very upset in the end.

I would say at least 8

Tenn Tech
ISU
Pitt
LA-Monroe
Indiana
Nebraska
Minnesota
Purdue

Michigan, Michigan St and Penn St could be 2:30 and NW is already at 6 pm.

I agree with this with the possible exception being Pitt. That could be a 2:30 ABC or something similar. Although Washington @ Nebraska will likely be the 2:30 ABC Big Ten game.

I also saw the BTN is not going to load up and do 5 or 6 games simultaneously at 11am. For example:

9/3 Arkansas St. - Illinois, 3:30pm ET
9/10 NM St. - Minn, 3:30pm ET
9/10 EIU - NU, 3:30pm ET

So this gives a better chance for La Monroe or Pitt to be a 2:30 start than in year's past.

If there is a conflict on CSN Chicago for the Cy-Hawk game, i'd be stunned if the game doesn't end up on CSN Chicago+, which is DirecTV channel 666.

Yes, the game will almost certainly be on CSN Chicago +, which is too bad for Mediacom subscribers. This same thing happened 2 years ago and Mediacom subs had to watch the game on Channel 22, in horrific SD. I'm glad I have Dish and get the litany of FSN channels so watching it in HD won't be a problem for satellite owners.

I would be pleasantly shocked if CSN used their overflow channel for the Iowa-ISU game....I have never seen them use it for anything other than another Chicago based team..ie..Sox,Cubs,Blackhawks,Bulls. They have never done it for any college football game, even N.Ill,a local team. No, we are going to be forced out to a bar,or payup for the full Sports package to watch this game....damn you ISU! Just another reason to cut this series to every other year,at most.

Yup, cut it to every other year.
