Indiana outscored Iowa 22-14 in the last 3 quarters of the game. Not good.
For those of you who say a win is a win that's fine, but Iowa overall did not play very well today. You're coming at it from a fan's standpoint and I'm looking at it from a coaching standpoint. Too many big plays, bad tackling and just uninspired football.
Some things are fixable. However, there was one thing I saw today that cannot be fixed with the current players that are on the field. It's the lack of speed. Iowa is slow on defense. As for the offense, after the big play first quarter, neither JR or CJB looked good.
Iowa's only potential savior is a bad bad bad schedule.

Luckily, you can teach/learn position, technique, gap integrity, and pursuit angles....which were bigger problems today than lack of speed and athleticism, which we also do have at a couple positions...

Why do I get the feeling that you'd be ok with an Iowa loss as long as Jake secures the starting spot. Or are you so insecure that you need someone to tell you you're right.
