Yep.....the sample size of this game (first quarter/half) you can't rest your laurels on. CJB should be definitely very much still in play. We still may need him next half.

Yeah, would be nice to see Iowa get both defense AND offense. 38 points is great (7 by the D) but gotta bottle up those big plays Indiana keeps getting.

This is the offense we hoped to see at the beginning of the year. Targeting a lot of playmakers, getting speed players in space (Powell, Parker), smart running selection (overall) for our different RB's (Weisman in short yardage, Canzeri more on first/second downs), and smart QB play.

What I mean by imaginary is I highly doubt any such
controversy was seriously entertained by the coaching
staff. Sure... they publicly said CJ would get his chance
to compete but I saw nothing that indicated they had any
thought that he had performed well enough to unseat Jake
as the starter.
This "controversy" pretty much existed on fan forums... by a
very small percentage of the fans.... and in th press to a far
lesser degree.
It was, in fact, imaginary.
