I had records in high school track. They have this thing there. I had to move up, and eventually to college. Forced to move on.
Hayden Fry is a legend. He stayed too long. We allowed it. It doesn't diminish from what he did, and what he meant to Iowa football that I make this statement, but the "true fans" are going to rip me for stating the obvious.
I'm in business now. Next year I'll buy in. The majority owner understands that you need to grow to some degree, or die.
Iowans are risk adverse, and more than others in my experience, do not like change.
My gripe is when some of us want to grow, or change, which include growing pains, others say we aren't "true fans."
