Iowa giving Dakich extra security for Wisky game

I really don't know why Iowa fans are getting so fired up about Dakich. Should he have said those things about Woody, no, but let's face it, Iowa fans haven't always been so respectful in discussing Woody for the last 3 years. I get the feeling this is becoming the "McCabe suck it" tweet from last year.

Iowa fans better have thick skin on Saturday, because with the combination of no White, a banged up Olesani and you know the refs will call a foul on Woody anytime he touches a Badger, this game will probably be just as ugly as the one in Madison, and Dakich is going to be over the top in his praise of Wisconsin and continue to take shots at Woody, Fran and all of the fans booing him. I'd bet that the ESPN producers are secretly hoping for some sort of minor incident so they can have something to show non-stop on Saturday to get some ratings.

They can't do that to our pledges... Only WE can do that to our pledges!

I'm glad Dakich will be there. It should fire up the crowd and the team. We need every advantage we can get against a terrific Wisky team.

P.S. He's gonna need the extra security. He is the most wanted man in Iowa City

While it might fire the crowd up. I think the fact that Wisconsin absolutely handed our ***** to us at their place better be more than enough to get fired up. If its at all possible to get fired up to play Wisconsin this year. I'm not so sure after the first game.

Sorry man. I'm usually pretty classy, but sometimes I fully believe a person has it coming to them. Dickitch deserves to get chewed up and spit out. The lack of class he has shown has earned it. He's not the kind of guy who will "feel bad" about his actions if he comes in and Iowa fans treat him nicely. He's such a moron he'll skip out of the stadium thinking he just pulled one over on us. I'm afraid the only way to ensure ESPN doesn't send him back to Iowa City is to give him the rude welcoming he deserves. Frankly, I don't care how it makes the fan base look. We're sticking up for one of the Hawkeye players, the team, and the coach. That's what fans do. Time to put some Gold Bond on Mr. Dickitch and make him go away.

You sold me, **** that guy.

Yikes....when does the classy part usually come in to play?

HM23, I will be on my "davenport", and all I can say is that my beer will need extra security for tomorrow's game.....;)

Iowa was lethargic in the 1st Wisconsin game and Wisconsin was playing at their peak at home with 2 extra days of rest and prep. I have no doubt Iowa will give an inspired effort this time around...for a lot of reasons. Dakich and Woodbury is nothing more than an ESPN angle IMO. I don't care what he has said or says tomorrow. He's just another guy running his mouth trying to get attention.

Wisconsin has no depth. Iowa has been looking forward to this game. It's in Carver. We need a win. Olaseni is practicing and will play. White says he's 100% playing. Of course he may not have the final say. Uthoff and Jok shot horribly against Purdue and should rebound with better shooting days. I'm cautiously optimistic Iowa is going to win tomorrow.

Well if he had apologized and admitted that he went too far then I would feel differently. He's done nothing of the sort. It's one thing sharing his opinion that it was a dirty move by Woodbury. I have no problem with that. Taking it a step further by calling him a coward and gutless is what I have a problem with. That's where he should have had the intestinal fortitude to be a man and admit that he probably got a little carried away and those comments weren't necessary. Instead he defends himself and his actions, and decides to act like Fran is the one being unreasonable for sticking up for his amateur athlete.

To sum it up... I don't feel any need to be classy in regards to Dickitch. **** him.

I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone, but I must say I would get a good chuckle if someone conveniently "dropped" a large soda on the back of his head while he was broadcasting live.

Back in the day when my friends and I were immature, we used to take straws and popcorn seeds & sit in the top of the UNI dome during football games & pelt those below. Never could find us. Could take the straw & cut in half to the size of one's hand.
Aw, the days. Just some of the dumb stuff we did as kids.

Almost implies that you're mature now. None of us are mature!!!

What should we do with Dakich's body when we're done with him? I was thinking either hang it from the rafters in Carver, or bury it in Kinnick.

Utah > UCLA by 32 at Utah
UCLA > Utah by 10 at UCLA

Wisky > Iowa by 32 at Madi

Therefore: no worries.

ESPN should pay for extra security; UofI shouldn't.

Nothing would happen anyway in spite of the bravado.
The blue hairs ain't gonna give up a needle to ***** Danny boy.
