Iowa Game Where?

So the game is not on ESPN but on BTN which means another game missed. I'm I reading this correctly?
Going to Direct but they can't get here until 10/6/12. Also saved $30.00 in the process for 2 years. Might have to switch back then when Direct tries to push up the cost. As I see it BTN is being a bit greedy.

I think your right about possibly switching back when BTN does the same to Direct TV. However, I don't honestly think you can call one side greedy over the other. The way I see it sides are equally to blame and it's not fair to accuse one of being greedy without mention of the other. Unfortunately everyone loses that isn't named BTN or whichever provider they're negotiating with at any given time.

What sucks is when you just signed a contract 4 months ago. I've called in got the red zone half off and some money off my bill for a year. Still sucks because it does not get me the BTN.

I don't understand why they just don't give us the option as an Ala cart. I would bay $5 extra a month, or the BTN should have a subscription options to watch all games on line. I would more the gladly pay the BTN network $5-$8 a month to not have to worry about this contract crap!

I asked that very same a la carte question of a Dish rep on the phone last weekend . . .she said "I don't know". I also said I'd be willing to pay a bit more/month for BTN . . .she gave me the (apparently standard) $10/month off my bill for the next year and offered me the sports pkg free for 6 mos. Hoping (but not holding my breath) for a resolution before 10/13
