and .... it's not last season .... seasons are static .... so are you just pissing and moaning to piss and moan or is there a point beyond the end is nearLast season we had two talented tight ends
What is the plan? Oh, I know we are just acting like we suck on offense, then when we go to Wisconsin we are going to whip out the full playbook and lay it on them. Our team is solid. We are sticking to the plan.
I’ve made my point at the beginning of this thread . Some people struggle with comprehension. You can continue to embrace mediocrity though that’s cool. Isn’t the OP voicing his concerns about this team? What is the point of you being here again?and .... it's not last season .... seasons are static .... so are you just pissing and moaning to piss and moan or is there a point beyond the end is near
My point of being here is to make sure the rest of the football world doesn't look at the iowa fan base like they look at the nebraska fan base: a bunch of rubes with other-worldly expectations that aren't really, you know, based on reality every year. let me guess: you think nebraska has unreal expectations but then have the same expectations for Iowa.I’ve made my point at the beginning of this thread . Dead wrong . The fan base just wants something different than 3 yards in a cloud of dust . Some fans might have fallen asleep in the stands today . There were average teams today who had over 500 yards of total offense .My point of being here is to make sure the rest of the football world doesn't look at the iowa fan base like they look at the nebraska fan base: a bunch of rubes with other-worldly expectations that aren't really, you know, based on reality every year. let me guess: you think nebraska has unreal expectations but then have the same expectations for Iowa.
embracing nebraska self-perception.
Nebraska fans think National Championships are their birthright. We would like a few divisional titles here and there for starters. My point of being here is to make sure the rest of the football world doesn't look at the iowa fan base like they look at the nebraska fan base: a bunch of rubes with other-worldly expectations that aren't really, you know, based on reality every year. let me guess: you think nebraska has unreal expectations but then have the same expectations for Iowa.

so AFTER a WIN, you just want to bitch about 3 yards in a cloud of dust even though Iowa passed the ball more than it rushed the ball.Dead wrong . Some of the teams I was referring to actually won their games todayso AFTER a WIN, you just want to bitch about 3 yards in a cloud of dust even though Iowa passed the ball more than it rushed the ball.
and AFTER a WIN, you want to bitch about total offensive yards where average teams that had over 500 total offensive yards and lost their game.
you can bitch AFTER a WIN. no one is saying you can't.
and I can say you and others like you are Da Haterz and sound like a nebraska fan when you bitch AFTER a WIN about the style of win.
yep. "Some" is the key word. That's why I didn't say "all" and you didn't say "all"Some of the teams I was referring to actually won their games today

The third down playcalling was pathetic today. Maybe the last drive where we actually ran straight forward will open their eyes that running sideline to sideline is a terrible move. Sargent and Young are much better running between the tackles rather than the stretch play. These quicker D-line teams always give them problems because they can shoot the gaps and take away the running lanes. With the size difference we had on them it should have been hat on hat and getting up field. But at least they know who they are.
