I'd like to know which of our players would say publicly that they expect to go into Lincoln and win with ease.

That's right, it didn't happen. What a tool, drumming up fabricated motivation and saying crap like that in a press conference. Classic Nebraska.

I wish the reporter or moderator would have asked him to follow up with a specific player or players who supposedly said that.

His response would have includeded about 61 "you knows" and a bunch of "homina, homina, hominas".
 
OK, off topic, these pop up ads are about driving me crazy.

They make my tablet jump all over the place. Hell, I just had @EstronHawkKing on ignore for about fifteen seconds! I didn't even mean to bring up his avatar.

Nebraska will be the 3rd worst team we face this season. I almost feel bad for them and the beating that is coming...almost.
 
Watching Iowa's D vs. mobile QB's in most years has always given me severe heartburn. I'm sure Friday will be no different. There's a lot of bending and sometimes too much breaking.

When we're in base defense, Colbert should have Martinez spy responsibility at all times.

When we're in cash, it should be Belton.

Maybe Joe Evans can be an X factor's X factor on third and long. He has been coming on strong.
 
I think Iowa wins this game by at least 10. The team knows a 9-3 season and a better bowl are on the line. Reminds me of a couple of Fry’s teams when the Rose or another major bowl were in the balance. You knew the Hawks were not going to lose.

I feel good about Friday. Hawks get it done.

"Creative" game plan, perhaps until the first bullets fly...then the frightened turtle will retreat to his shell.

But, yes, would love to see an all throttle game plan to bury Nebraska, and their season, and send them to the Sand Hills.

I really don't have a good "feel" for this match-up but it would be nice to see Iowa win in a blow out vs the Punks and their Punk Coach. Perhaps, in a wishful thinking way, a big enough gap to see the future of our QB...get some snaps.
 
If Nebby does win, there will zero props for beating an established program like Iowa's.
 
Last year Iowa executed a classic ball control game..they kept Nebby's offense on the sidelines. Each team only had 9 possessions. Time of possession was 34-25. It was a winning strategy. I remember their offense not taking the field for maybe a 45 minutes if you include half time

If you look late 2nd quarter...Iowa had a long possession...then N had a short one...then half time, then they had another short possession and then Iowa had a long one.. It was awesome.

I'm certain that KF and Brian will agree that we should keep martinez on the sideline during such a cold shitty day. Let him get cold and stiff.
