The key question is did the new grad transfer punter show up and is he healthy? If he did show up and if he is healthy, then he is almost a shoo-in to win the punting job.

1. Does the staff have 8 bodies they feel comfortable throwing out there on the Dline?
2. Has interior Oline made strides from last year?
3. Slot receiver has led team in receptions the last 7 years....if game was tomorrow, who starts? Is it possible they rotate that position?
4. With the loss of 2 all american, 1st round TEs, does BF anticipate a large jump in 3 wide sets this year?
5. Since bottoming out in receiver talent in 2016, is the staff happy where this group is at now 3 years later?
6. Has Phil identified "that guy" for 2019 yet? That freshman who grabs a decent amount of playing time....similar to Stone 2 years ago, Merriweather last year, etc?
7. Is it safe to say that, unless Michael Sleep-Dalton kills someone, he'll be the starting punter?
8. Do you forsee using one of the kickers for kickoffs and the other for field goals/extra points?
9. Who's got the inside track on punt returns?
10. Do you think the ambiguity around chop blocks will be solved this year?!

Ask the players who they think has been standing out in practice as a newcomer or guy we haven’t heard of as much at any position. That way you might get a response that isn’t so much coach speak and a players perspective.

Just read that KFz said Oliver Martin's papers were just filed in the last two weeks. How the hell does that happen?
Is there some extenuating circumstance that prevented this from getting done earlier or did somebody really screw the pooch?

Oliver’s parents hired an attorney...the university is taking their cue from them. My guess is his attorney was gathering factual evidence to submit with the application for immediate instatement...

Barta was responsible for the Pooch's contract. Took a bit longer then expected as the Pooch is a shrewd businessman.
