Just read that KFz said Oliver Martin's papers were just filed in the last two weeks. How the hell does that happen?

Is there some extenuating circumstance that prevented this from getting done earlier or did somebody really screw the pooch?

What Nate observed or gained from the Manning Passing Academy deal this summer. And what are some things Nate feels he still needs to work on to make his game even better.

Also think receivers will be beyond what we had in past. That can't hurt Nate's numbers.

I hate to put a season on one guy's back, but if Nate Stanley is good Nate in the big games, we are going to be a really tough out. Our defense is going to be really good...and whenever that happens, well, we have a shot at going 12-0. I think every position group is going to be pretty good. I like Tracy, Rigani, and if God is willing, Oliver Martin to be guys that can get open in space and move the chains. All three are quick change of direction guys...and that is all you need. BF has a mindset like Josh McDaniels...scheming to get the one on one matchup he likes and you can move the chains with the short passing game. The more the offense is on the field...the more we wear down the front seven of the other team.

Stanley doesn't always need to be great...he just has to be great when we need him to make a play.

Oliver’s parents hired an attorney...the university is taking their cue from them. My guess is his attorney was gathering factual evidence to submit with the application for immediate instatement...

"Gathering"? What more than what we've already heard (and what OM has known for months) is there?

Yes attorney's live on billable hours. But if OM's family hired a guy who's more interested in padding his bank account than getting things done expeditiously so OM can play...they hired the wrong lawyer.

All that speculation aside...it'd be a shame if foot dragging costs him playing opportunities. Curious to know the details.

The key question is did the new grad transfer punter show up and is he healthy? If he did show up and if he is healthy, then he is almost a shoo-in to win the punting job.
