I've heard from some it's 38. Either way the people who do these don't know squat about Iowa and KF. He'll pull up and send in the 3rd stringers after going up three scores. I don't think any reasonable Iowa fan could think we will toast them by 40.

Usually i would agree with you but just this once im going to go the other way on this for a few reasons.
1) The players that EIU is missing, including their best player
2) Our depth. Our 2nd team guys are solid. K. Davis, Vandenberg, C.J Fed or offense and the 2nd team D is just as stout.
3) I think (Really this is more of a hope) Kirk will give the starters 3 quarters to set a tone for the season.

You will have to do with a brand new 46 inch samsung lcd. A 9 year old yellow lab.
With the players we have out Saturday and the new line i just cant see us even putting up 30 let alone win by that. Were going to run alot. Dont forget Ken O'Keefe is calling plays people.

Would bet my house on Eastern Illinois. Taking nothing away from Iowa. Maybe 38-7 final. 38+ is a lot for a KF coached team.
I know you are a true Hawk fan and I can understand how you feel. You are missing the positives. This won't be like the UNI game. We have such superior talent this year that I could call this game and win by 40. The offensive line is better than last years was at mid-season, Senior leadership is huge, they may no cross mid-field all day. Our return game is one of the best in the country. Our WR's may be the best in the big 10. Robinson will have a huge first half, probably over 100, and the back-ups will roll in the second half. I would be shocked if we were under 30 at the half. This not like an Iowa team that we have ever put on field. My prediction 55-3. Do ya think I'm a homer or what?
