3 is the standard for NFL. College stadiums vary. Kinnick is -5.5 to -6.5 in Vegas.

Why shouldn't we be?...oops, oh yeah, well...i guess if you're trying to generate action, I'd say it's about right. When's kickoff? 90 days of summer yet.

This seems about right. NIU needs to take the next step and beat a big conference school on the road. They didn't do that even in their Orange Bowl year. Kansas at home last year doesn't really qualify as Kansas was 1-11 or something like that. Don't get me wrong, Iowa has to play well in this game to win. They will have to score points...cause I don't think, with what they have coming back on offense, 18 points will win this game. There offense should be better, our defense should be better so it could be a good match up there. Where Iowa has the advantage is that our offense will most certainly be better (o-line, in particular) and their defense took a serious hit just about everywhere. I'm not sure a school like NIU just reloads.

I think the 6.5 is an interesting line. I doubt it moves much either...unless there is an injury.
