I'm a bit surprised that we don't hear about racial slurs more often. I'm sure it gets pretty nasty out there week in and week out on the field. Who ever was saying that, no doubt did not make friends with his team mates. No doubt they heard it...so on further reflection, maybe those kinds of things are not said very often....because players of different race play together as a team and don't focus on differences.

I would be willing to bet black guys call each other that on the field all the time. If it was a white guy, he is either a complete idiot (since he obviously has black teammates) or the black players there are all extremely cool with white people saying it and a culture developed there.
