Me not being in his shoes is why I would never judge how it affects him. Not big bothered by your insults prove I was right that it wouldn't bother me.
Also it's my cousin I married. My sister is just my mistress. Bot they're both really hot so it's cool.
First off being rude is being rude. The N-word has some special place that actually elevates its power which is exactly what racists want. Can you see the irony?
Here's a thought experiment for the board.
Back in the 60s political correctness demanded that everyone have the right to express themselves in a way that might offend others. (tv/movies couldn't have nudity - comics couldn't say certain words - etc.)
Now, political correctness demands that everyone have the right to be free from being offended. (the: "your rights end where my feelings begin" movement)
Now also realize that both those political movements were basically from the same group of people. The people who once argued for more freedom became the people who argued for more tyranny.
We'll never be a great society till we get back to the days where it was okay to put Lenny Bruce in prison for saying words that polite society disapproved of.
To me it's exactly the same. Trying to offend someone is trying to offend someone. To me, beating up someone because the color of their skin is no worse than beating someone up just for the hell of it. I hate the idea that a hate crime is somehow worse.
