Iowa DT Faith Ekakitie Says Nebraska OL Used Racial Slurs During Today’s Game

Yeah, good bulletin board material for next year. I'm sure Doyle took some notes. He has a long memory

I'll be interested to see how the Nebraska athletic department handles this. Does doing nothing mean they are OK with this kind of behavior?

Well, let's see, who got the best of whom? That whole d line was outstanding and Faith and Jaleel played especially good, I thought. Nebraska is a junk a $$ team, cannot stand them at all

Hmm wonder why Faith won't call out who said it. I sure as hell would. I wouldn't do what he's done and say that and then not put a name to it... If you want to stop this sort of thing from happening you got to shame the crap out of them. Saying in vague politically correct terms that someone threw racial slurs at you and not pointing out who did it is borderline pointless. Why say anything about it now? He should say exactly what they said in what context and who did it. And if anyone else heard it they should step up and collaborate it

I was at the game, two things. 1) I noticed in the first after almost every play the Nebraska o-lineman would get in the faces of the Iowa defenders, pushing their facemasks into the Iowa players facemasks. It was obvious they were talking smack and trying to intimidate. One Husker got in Jewell's face and Josey just stood there and put his hands in the air because a ref was standing right there and did nothing. 2) I also noticed after one play that Faith and a white Husker o-lineman were in each others faces (makes me wonder if that was the incident.) By late second Q, the NU lineman stopped, they knew they were getting dominated.

I wonder if the guy was black or white. A lot of black guys are fine saying it or hearing other black guys say it, but maybe Faith isn't cool with a black guy saying it.

You are a dumbass.

Did you misunderstand my post or something? I read an article where JJ got it in high school and it didn't bother him. I know for a fact some black guys don't care if other black guys say it. Maybe Faith does care. To me it does make a difference if the guy who said it was black or white because a white guy without a doubt knows it's a big deal to say it but a black guy might think it's no big deal.
