If you read the full presser, he goes on to speak passionately about how much he likes the "coaching" aspect, helping others achieve their best possible performance level, and his appreciation for the fact that the head coach becomes more CEO and less coach. So he clearly has that conflict in mind. I also think he has incredible loyalty to his players and to Iowa in general.
Is the fact that he has not jumped ship for a head coaching position worrisome? I think not, but I could see how you would make the argument.
