Iowa BB: Number of Wins This Year?

My prediction for the season is 12-19. 5 more non conference wins and 3 big ten wins. Fran keeps his record of improving the second year alive.

Easily under 10 wins. Boise State will thump us....carbon copy of the Fighting Camels.

I was thinking about 16-17 wins before the season started.

9-10 Non Conference Wins, but I was banking on 10.
4 conference wins at home: Nebraska, Penn St, Northwestern, Michigan
2 conference wins on road: I figured they might get two wins from somewhere.

I don't think Iowa is as bad as they looked vs. Creighton and Clemson but they are not as good as they looked vs. Chicago St, North Carolina A&T or Northern Illinois.

If I had to adjust my expectations at this point my hope is they can hit the 14 game win mark I guess and play a lot more competative games.

I just feared before the season that the lack of a play making wing was going to hurt Iowa and I just was not sure how refined Basabe's offensive game was going to be. I was hoping that Aaron White would be an xfactor since I liked his size, lenght and all around game.

I am sure there will be some more blowouts and I am sure Iowa will find a way to beat a team they should not beat.

Coach will have an exciting and entertaining product on the court. That is almost enough for me. Our players will be playing as a team, with confidence, energy, movement and they will be having fun. That says a lot. We had some of that in the latter half of last year, and the Hawkeyes can only say they have had that 2 or 3 time in the past 12 years!

Fran will have us in striking distance for the win in every game this year, with exception of maybe one or two games max. Tell me that isn't going to be kickas$!

I'm drinking some koolaid, but not that much I don't think. 17-21 games. I'll go with 19.5...
The beginning of the B1G will be a *****.
