Iowa basketball scholarship breakdown

I know other members have done better jobs of breaking down Iowa's scholarships per class. This is my feable attempt with the upcomming season just a few months away. I know the future years are something that will change with transfers and scolarships given to those that at the present are walkons. It's more of a where things stand at the present. Hope it's more clarifying than confuseing.

That was a pretty nice graphic to break that dowm. Thanks.

Couple of things:

1. First off, nice graphic....makes it easy to visualize.
2. Second, you're missing Patrick McCaffrey in the 2019 class
3. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed the "pastiness" of the roster by 2020. Connor at point, Weiskamp at shooting guard, Patrick at small forward, Nunge at power forward, and Garza at Center. That's like Kentucky basketball circa 1965. :)

I thought about adding Patrick to the 2019 class but I thought I better not jump the gun until it was official. My luck, if I would have added him, he would have declared for Iowa State and everyone would have held me responsible for jumping the gun.;) I know how these boards can react after years of viewing them.

That transition from 2020 to 2021 could be a bitch. Losing six seniors, many of whom played major minutes, is never easy. Another good reason for Pemsl to redshirt unless he is entirely 100% healthy this season.

Having 2 borderline 5 stars as starters will help ease that transition hopefully.

Nice graphic. Here's another one (LINK) that shows each class plus walk-ons plus offers.

GO HAWKS!!!

Didn't realize "New Vernon" was such a basketball rich pool to draw from. I wonder if the Austin Ash listed at that link is any relation to the Austin Ash that played for Mt. Vernon...

Yeah, I saw that as well, lol. I'm not so sure about their star ratings either as they have Patrick listed as a 2-star.

GO HAWKS!!!
