I really hope I'm wrong, and I hate to say it, but I see Wisconsin running away with this one.
It's a bit of a perfect storm against the Hawks: Wisconsin's coming off of two road losses, they're at home playing a rival in a pivotal West division game and have had two weeks to prepare.
Chryst discussed the strategy of defenses loading the box and made a point to mention that the team worked on countering that. Iowa, of course, is stating that the plan is to load the box. I see us getting burned early and often by play-action and struggling to adjust on the fly. Combine that with an offense that struggles mightily against the 3-4, and it could be a long afternoon.
Iowa would never state what their plan is going into a game. And has Iowa ever loaded the box for anyone?
Including GT back in 2009?
Odds are very high they'll play their standard 4-3 or 4-2-5 in passing situations and rely on executing their game plan which is always stop the run and make teams one dimensional.
