^^^^^^ Iowa at MSU - Game Thread ^^^^^^

Hate to say it, but I have a bad feeling about this one. OSU pushed our post guys around like rag dolls. Sullinger is more talented individually than any player for MSU, but MSU is always a very physical basketball team. They defend well and rebound well. Not a good combination for our Hawkeyes to face this year.

However, Wiscy is in that same mold and our Hawks were able to pull off a win against them. I think Mich State isquite a bit more talented than Wiscy tho. I think we're in for another long game.

I don't want to be a pessimistic *******, but no.
Iowa hasn't won in EL forever (yes, I know about the Kohl Center).
And MSU is just a much better team than Iowa, and they are very good at home.

It's been a house of horrors for Iowa the past decade.

I hope Iowa can give them a run, anything competitive would be great. If they win, it would be the biggest win since Iowa beat OSU in the B1G tourney.
 
Nothing is impossible. I don't think MSU is nearly as talented as OSU. They really haven't beaten too many really good teams this year and streaks are meant to be broken. Maybe this is the year. Would be nice if we could get some production from our post position, whether it be Brommer, Archie or some combination of forwards.
