Iowa actually is highly thought of by pollsters.

Lol, it did not even occur to me to check if Iowa was ranked.

But its nice to know the Hawkeyes gave a boost to UNI in the polls.

Maybe we should be careful what we say about ISU...we play NDSU next year in our opener in Kinnick. Two new starting tackles...on both sides of the ball. We are deep on the defensive side...on offense not so much. It will be a dog fight with those guys next year...but I believe we break their streak.

It's 2016 when Iowa plays NDSU. And it's not the opener, it's the third game of the season in 2016, after Miami (Ohio) and Iowa State.

But yes, NDSU will likely be a quality opponent coming in 2016. Lot can happen between now and then, but Bisons have a track record of being well-coached and good.

Bad idea playing NDSU. What's to be gained? Win, great, they're FCS. Lose, holy cow, you suck!

I think they took a look at Beast Mode Johnson and decided that the odds of an FCS defense containing him are slim to none.

Ok...we will only be replacing two starters in 2016 on the OL and our DL will be monster like with Jaleel and Faith and a slew of others fully seasoned after 2015. CJ, if he is still here, will finally be getting his chance to shine. Otherwise it's Weigers job to win or lose to Benevetti. I think we will be fine to end NDSU's streak of wins against FBS competition.
