Is there any way to tie the comments from the actual article into the forum post? I never know if I should post something in the comments section on the story itself, or post them here in the forum post.

Which tends to generate more reads?

Boise St received a bunch of 1st place votes....wtf? The only good thing about them playing in the NC this year will be that the NCAA will finally be forced into a playoff system.

Yessirre....if BSU wins the thing this year, there will be a playoff. The power-suits won't stand for any other scenerio. So, for that reason, I'll root on BSU each and every week.
 


Iowa didn't deserve to get moved up much. I like our current positioning in the polls. What our guys need to do is to continue to focus on the given game at hand ... and flush all other distractions.

Why not? Who has a better resume than they do? At this point they have by far the most impressive win of any team.
 


Hawkeye 12345 the NCAA does not control the National Championship for football or we would have a playoff like other divisions already have. Bowls will be here for a long time so enjoy and keep dreaming of a playoff and Go Hawks.

As far as the NC game is concerned, I certainly hope not.

A playoff is no more than 5 years in the offing, which will be about 10 years overdue.
 


I said it before and I will say it again...it is very simple and is true year in and year out. The polls are fun to see and read but it holds true that if the Hawkeyes take one weekend at a time one opponent at a time the season will end meeting expectations. I know its easier said than done but if they are truly a championship team they will get it done.
 


I see the media has jumped back on the Meeeechigan bandwagon...one good game and they're ranked 26th??? C'mon man.....
 


As anyone who has seen the Sagarin rankings can tell, having EIU & Ball State on our Schedule is going to kill the computer component of the BCS for us. Hopefully having the clowns & arizona on our schedule will even that out.
 


Only way i'd want a playoff is if we kept the bowls, take all the winners and put into a playoff, everyones happy!

Eh, what team doesn't have a couple terrible teams on their non conference schedule. We play two BCS teams, including a ranked opponent on the road. Our non conference schedule will def not hurt us. Alabama plays San Jose St. and Georgia St, who is playing football for the first time ever this fall.
