Iowa 16th in BCS

Nebraska at #7?

So, when you beat the #5 team in the BCS by 31 points, you move up 2 spots.

But, if you beat the #6 team in the BCS by 14 points, you move up 7 spots.

That makes sense.

I point your attention to the Loss column. They have one loss....we have two. How, pray tell, do you justify a two loss team moving up to number seven?

If that loss column number for Iowa was a zero, they would be in the top 5 if not 3rd behind Auburn and Oregon.

As it is, Iowa IS the highest ranked of the two loss teams.

top 5 have 0 losses.

6-15 have 1 loss.

16 Iowa has 2 losses.

17 Okie State has 1 loss.

Sooooo, yeah. Can't ***** too much about being 16.

I see the point about Nebby... even though they have one loss, to a unranked team, at least both of ours are to teams ranked in the top 15. I am not saying we should necessarily be ranked higher, but a 7 spot jump seems a little much.

Nebraska's computers will come down with games versus ISU, Kansas, Colorado and A&M.

The craziest thing to me is there are 0 Big East teams in the top 25, yet someone will be in a BCS Bowl game.
