Iose...BOOM!!!

Iose scratched in all 3 throws and didn't qualify for state. He did throw 55+ in the shot put and is going to state in that.
No shit? Dang bet he's pretty disappointed. He better his frustrations out on the football field then. I'm super stoked to see what he can do for us. I'm hoping to see him play no less then what AJ did as a freshman. He could take reps from Hurkett

Agreed. We should be stacked at DE. Hopefully, the reports out of spring camp that the DT group is coming along are accurate. A summer of lifting and good weight gains will assist that group.

I have yet to see him in the two deeps. It could be a physicality issue. Although, allegedly he is farther along than AJ was in his career.

I do recall, when AJ played, it was only 3rd down pass rush situations. Phil rotates a lot of guys in. I have been wondering the same thing. With the new redshirt rules, he can play a certain amount. Maybe it's continue to develop and allow him to play later in the season?

We are stacked with upper classman DE, and so I am guessing that it is just a numbers game. By most accounts, he mirrors his older brother in many respects, including readiness coming out of high school. He was spoken of highly during camp. I find it hard to believe that Parker cannot find some rush packages to make sure of his freakish athletic ability. Its unlikely you have this kid for even four years, let alone five, so not sure that a redshirt makes sense. We all trust Parker, but the D was carved apart by an accurate passer with time to throw the first half Saturday. We lack playmakers on the D. lose could be part of that solution.
