Interim trophy - praying this is a joke



I'm sure it's a joke. It's the same trophy (literally). You can see the holes for where the people were bolted in.
 




i heard on a radio show in the last couple days that they in fact were going to use the base of it but add something different on top. maybe this it.
 


Weird. I think Mindy was so upset and bitter about fan reaction that she said, "here...if you don't like the precious moments family on the trophy, here you go...HERE's your interim trophy!"
 






I know that won't be the trophy, but that is actually very fitting trophy. A die cast field with small bushel of corn on it, hastily pulled together at the last minute, handed to the winner of a bitter rivalry game. It has a backstory that will be told for years to come and tells the tale of the modern era in which we live, an era in which Angry Studies majors are allowed to design football trophies, 'Merika's competitiveness is on the wane, creativity is dead and corporate sponsorships rule the day. We need to get behind that trophy. You proles lack the foresight to see it today, but if you are still alive in 50 years, every time you see that trophy, you will think back to the summer of 2011 and you can tell your grandkids a great deal about the era through that trophy. It's so perfect that I am not surprised you proles don't get it.
