Anyone that thinks ND is going to join Bevo's B!tches is smoking crack. They are bound and determined to stay independent and the only thing that may (and I say may not will) force them to join a conference is if we wind up with 4 16 team super confrences. Then and only then they would join the Big 10 not the BBL. (Bevo's B!tches League) As for Arkansas, why would they leave an elite conference like the SEC to re-join Texas in what amounts to another crack at the SWC. They've been there and done that, so none of this will take place.

Your wrong. Paul Rhoads is an Ankeny guy and ISU is his dream/destination job IMO. He has said as much and his attitude and demeanor seem thoroughly genuine. Of course, as with Kirk Ferentz, I suppose everyone has their price...but anything up to 3-4 million bucks ISU would match (if he is successful to warrant such outside offers). He is at least as securely in place at ISU as KF is at Iowa.

As for when Texas comes to Ames...nobody knows yet because the schedules for post 2012 are not out. If its late October...that too can be cold and wet.

I will place a bet that Texas never plays football in Ames again.
