Injury Update for Wisky

Can you ask him to talk about Amani Jones? He was the guy coming into week 1 and didn't last long; just wondering what they saw that made them pull him so fast after there was a lot of hype. The two bush league penalties during kicks last week couldn't have helped.

Yeah, that was a head-scratcher. They showed him on sidelines after second one discussing it with one of the coaches (I think it was a coach). He was obviously upset. I think the kid has just let the negative get inside his head and he's pushing too hard and not letting the game come to him.

Brian had him by the arm, and I couldn't tell if he was chewing his ass or trying to get him to calm down. Either way Jones looked pretty rattled.

I saw this too. It was right before a commercial break. It looked like BF was coaching him hard either way.

I wonder if he’s a guy like a Tyler Starr. Physical beast but not “heady” enough to play the game at a high level.

Starr played high school ball in our conference and just killed everybody. Went to USD and dominated even more, but once he got to the pros he never got on the field which surprised a lot of people because he had an awesome combine showing and measureables. Apparently once he got there he couldn’t remember assignments, read offenses, basically was totally scatterbrained and couldn’t make heads or tails out of what he was supposed to be doing. Sometimes the higher levels of football are too fast and complex for some people to pick up on, regardless of their physical talent.
