Indiana

We need to recruit James Madison players in the portal. Or, offer some of the same recruits they seek. Indiana has 10 or 11 starters their head coach brought from JM.

true dat

Damn, they are good
Well... As a reference point, a LOT better than Iowa. They're getting challenged by a pretty pedestrian Michigan right now so time to prove their legitimacy. Are they for real or are they gonna melt down into their lane like ISU has?

10-11 starters for Indiana came with their coach from JAMES MADISON!

Horizon League, where my Grand daughter is a four year scholarship volleyball player At UW Green Bay.

yup. Weird.

It really is pretty amazing.

How do you take a handful of players from your previous team - that, as Huck pointed out, is not even a Power 5/6 school - combine them with a slew of transfers, many of which were not high-level recruits, and turn it into not only the best team you've ever assembled but one of the most dominant teams in the country?

Talk about stars aligning.....

With a bunch of James Madison players, JAMES FREAKING MADISON!. He also assembled the team with many other portal recruits which really says something about his coaching in a first year when you really think about. Wait until he's a recruiting cycle in (3 or so years) and see what he does. This is similar to what T.J Otzelberger did at Iowa St. his first year, IMO.

Good coaching and faith can go along ways to propelling a team to a great season. They believe in their coach and fight for him and that's awesome.

HOWEVER, come on, they have played NO ONE. Washington, Nebraska and Michigan are their best wins. All were at home. None of those teams are bowl eligible.

THAT SAID, they have been blowing teams out and you play the schedule in front of you. Indiana, IMHO, is going to make the playoffs. Purdue is a gimme. So, they either get beat by OSU and finish 11-1 and in the Top 10. You gotta let them in. Or, they somehow beat OSU and play Oregon and end up 12-1 and in the Top 5. Definitely in.

We will see if Indiana is for real this weekend. I don't see them hanging with OSU, but that's why they play the games.

Love what Indiana is doing this year. Their coach is an absolute savage.
He absolutely is... I would think some schools would be tripping over each other for him. Wonder what he does after this yr. I mean hell he might just knock off OSU and run the table. I wouldn't bet on it but I won't be surprised if they do.

Indiana/OSU in a couple weeks is probably going to be the most watched game of the season up to that point, and 99.99999999% of all viewers are rooting for Indiana. I am.
Agreed. My son went to Indiana. Great school.

Since KF laid an egg this year and we dropped out of the playoff race a month ago, let's adopt Indiana on this Board!

I've watched them. That offense is pretty good, regardless who they are playing. The Ohio St. game will be interesting and really tell us a lot.
