In hindsight, did the Penn St game break both Iowa and Penn St physically and mentally?

Both teams have not been the same since that game. Penn St beat both Wisconsin and Auburn. Iowa handles the Clowns at Big Top and throttles Indiana. Both are riding high into that game.

We know key injuries came out of that game. I wonder how many more undisclosed injuries came out of it as well.

Iowa may not have had the greatest offense at all from the start of the year until now.......but they were at least efficient when it needed to be before the Purdue game. Padilla provided a spark yesterday no question, but the offense is still largely broken and the defense does not look superhuman anymore.

No. Clown U isn't that good. Indiana is terrible. Maryland is terrible. Colorado State and Kent State are G5 teams and gave Iowa fits. This is who we are.

The hit Clifford took slowed PSU down, as did their lineman getting hurt. Iowa lost Moss, but he ain't the difference maker that would have our offense playing at even a mediocre rather than dogshit level.
