I'm Starting To Get Antsy Now!

Kickoff has been getting closer and closer by the day, but this morning with the sunshine outside, I'm really starting to feel that antsy feeling, I won't say nervous but giddy feeling. I think the weather also has a lot to do with it with the crispness in the air along with the sunshine, typical for Kinnick stadium in the fall.

This is my favorite time of the year, the next three months of September thru November. I love the cold air in the morning and crispness of the air, love the leaves turning red and orange and eventually falling. Looking at the countdown clock on this site and we are 30 minutes for the clock to turn under 24 hrs. FINALLY! I love this time of year and the fact that football coincides with it. The perfect storm. I hope you all enjoy this season.

Right there with you about the season. I love fall weather so much. Had chili for lunch at work yesterday and had to defend myself. I said IT'S SEPTEMBER!!! Chili is now on the menu. Love to open the windows and let that crisp air inside. And fall means football. Doesn't get any better than that. Go Hawks!!

C'mon, chili is always on the menu. People eat really hot peppers and wing sauce year around so why diss on chili in the summer. I agree on loving this time of year and I will throw in another reason as the ground is usually harder so my golf drives would go farther, the drier cooler air for sure, even the going back to school when I was younger, much younger (but by April 1st school was always a bitch). And almost as long as I can remember, 1956-57 the hawks playing football. Of course we had to listen to the games and read the Big Peach the next day and just hope to see some good action photos.

Old standby brats and beer are set. The next 18 hours are going to drag. Hope we rock them hard and send a warning to the clowns and NDSU.

Go Hawks tomorrow. I'll be at work during the game but DVR is set. Look forward to enjoying the game when I get home.
