Oooh, a liberal arts major. This could be fun. In that case, I'll rewrite your "accomplishments", also based in fact.
This senior class couldn't win the also-ran tournament, lost in the round that actually gets you in the tournament, then beat the worst Davidson team in years only to get destroyed by Gonzaga, and is currently in the midst of one of the biggest collapses in college basketball in the past ten years. Oh yeah: it's their second such collapse in three years.
You keep saying that, but it simply isn't true.
In 2015 they lost in the second round of the NCAA to Iowa, that's YOUR baseline (the worst Davidson team in years).
In 2014 they lost in the first round of the NIT to Missouri (definitely worse).
In 2013 they lost in the second round to Marquette (same as 2015).
In 2012 they lost in the second round to Louisville (same as 2015).
In 2011 they lost in the first round quarterfinals of the CBI to Creighton (definitely worse).
In 2010 they did not play in any post-season tournament (definitely worse).
In 2009 they lost in the second round of the NIT to St. Mary's (definitely worse).
In 2008 they lost in the Elite 8 of the NCAA to Kansas. << This is the FIRST team that would be better than the 2015 team that lost to Iowa... 7 years before. And this team had a very elite player, Stephen Curry, leading them.
But let's not let facts get in the way of a good rant.
Edit: It doesn't look like this year's 17-11 Davidson team will qualify for any post season tournament.
