I'm calling it - Wadley 3rd round/Jackson 2nd round

If Jackson comes out, which is likely, and has a decent combine, I could see him going top 15 in the draft. Corners with both length and ball skills are a premium in the NFL. If he stays to work on his zone ability, great, but, keeping it real, he should go when he's guaranteed big money now.

For Jewel, a lot will depend upon his combine performance, especially his 40. If he runs below 4.7, he could go 2nd/high 3rd, but if runs above that number, he could slide to late 4th/early 5th. Teams are placing heavy emphasis on the ability to play in space at the MLB position right now.

Wadley probably is looking at late 5th/early 6th. You just don't see NFL teams reaching for RBs anymore, especially RBs that are projected as 3rd down specialists.

Hard to say with Welsh. He probably should go around the 6th, but, due to Kirk's resume, Iowa linemen tend to go a little higher, so he could go as high as 4th round if his combine performance is reasonable.

I actually think Niemann has a good chance to get drafted late. He just needs a good combine, and, someone likely will take a flyer on Boettger late if he looks completely recovered physically (again, primarily because he's from the Iowa pipeline).

We are way past the point of that being the best thing for Jackson. You always need a kid as good as Jackson. It is time for Jackson to go make himself a guaranteed multi millionaire. Jackson's draft stock can never possibly get higher than this. I want what is best for the young man and in Jackson's case specifically it is to go now.
Did you guys see Morgan JR. of Nebby school Jackson on those 2 TD passes against Jackson's press coverage in the first half? I doubt Jackson is polished as a man-on-man pass defender and, consequently, he won't be a first rounder in the draft so he'll be better served playing his final year at Iowa (to have his draft status be higher?).

Jackson late 1st to early 2nd. Jewell 3rd-4th. Wadley I would say 5th maybe. He won't be anything other than a 3rd down back, maybe slot.

James White went in the 4th round. Dion Lewis went in the 5th round. I think Wadley's role could be very comparable to those guys. So 4th-5th round sounds about right to me

Although Alvin Kamara went in the 3rd round last year, so who knows

I wouldn't say schooled. 1st one was a good throw and catch, not much else he could have done. 2nd one he could have gotten more of a bump, but that looked like Cover 3, so that was on Gervase as he was supposed to be over the top help. He made up for it by shutting Morgan down the rest of the game, and almost made Lee pay for testing him.

I’d like to see Jackson return for one more season just to get better with zone coverage defense. He’s also could be looking ahead to what could be next year! The Hawks will arguably be returning a deep and talented secondary that could be the best in the B1G! With a more favorable schedule next year and all the guys that are returning, I dont think it is too far fetched that we could have a repeat of 2015! We’ve seen what this offense can be, our defense will again be solid! Could Jackson pass up the NFL for one more year? I dont know what his decision will be, but if he returns, it will be because he wants to have a chance to win a championship! Just my two cents!

I see Jackson going pro this year, unless he doesn't. I'm just preserving my right to say I told you so.

Jackson- 1st
Josey- 4th
Wadley- 4th or 5th

Still convinced King would have been 1st or 2nd round had he left. Jackson leaving as he should when the hype is at it's peak!! Cha Ching!!

Browns talk Tyler Wiegers into early entry. They get a young career-long backup to trot out as their new bestest ever franchise QB. Until next year.

Which means he'd be starting by week 4 of his rookie season, and would them be added to my favorite song when it's rewritten:

Jackson in the 1st
Wadley in the 6th
Jewell in the 3rd
Welsh in the 7th

I think Jackson gets a king bump this year. Cant underestimate Iowa DBs anymore.
Wadley is strictly a 3rd down back. Probably a KR and PR guy.
Jewell will go to a team like the Bears or the Ravens.
Welsh is a guard that isnt a top 10 guard in the draft.

We can only Hope he goes to Da Bears.Don't see anyone else getting Drafted besides J and J.

Running backs abound in the draft. Wadley. 5th round. If drafted. Love what Wadley has done for Iowa. But the reality is that his talent's may not transfer to the NFL. He has decent speed. Great moves. A lot of the things you can't teach. But he is not a great running back.

Jackson second round. But I can see him falling to the third or even the fourth round. He is a good corner and can have a long career in the the NFL.

Much comes down to the numbers they put up at the combine. Just a guess, but, after that process I'd go:

Jackson a 2nd day guy/Wadley and Jewell third day guys.

I just remember being sure Desmond King would go in the second day and that didn't happen.

Jackson and Jewell will get drafted, the others won’t.

Wadley didn’t do anything this year to stand out to scouts, and he’s not strong enough to be a slot receiver in the NFL like a Welker, Beasley, or Edelman. Those guys are not only good receivers, but they’re known for being able to block if they need to and take huge hits across the middle. Wadley doesn’t have that part of the game. He tried the entire time he was here to put weight on, with one of the most respected S&C coaches in the country and couldn’t do it. I love the kid as a Hawkeye but I don’t think he gets drafted. Tryouts and a possible practice squad spot? I’d go along with that.
