How many folks anticipate that Florida or Texas will be losing recruits in droves?

I think that many recruits will realize that sometimes a good program can have a bad year. It's not like Iowa just came off a BCS bowl victory or something .... WAIT ....

Big difference between the programs. Those schools are the prominent football teams in their states(like Iowa), have NC, and will keep most of their recruits because they are in state recruits(unlike Iowa). I bet Iowa will keep all their in-state recruits as well, but the success of the hawkeyes depends on bringing kids into the state, and a disappointing season for a kid that did not grow up with the program can mean a lot.

I'm with Homer on this one. While our season wasn't what we wanted we will still most likely go to a Jan 1 bowl can sell things like our nfl players, last few years, and strong graduation rate. We may lose a few but maybe we don't want them if they jump ship. Sometimes it's good to see that early and not invest too much time and coaching in them before we now how they are
