If UM cans RichRod how long until he get's a phone call from Pitt?

He's gonna have an entire recruiting class nearly in place, many of which won't likely fit the new offensive system. Pitt is going to be desparate for a coach after what happened to thier new hire. He's familiar with the BigE obviously as well as that part of the country recruiting wise. The only real question would be if Pitt could pay him enough to motivate him to work after getting a fat buyout from scUM, though he strikes me as the kind of guy that would love nothing more than to give scUM a big FU and take the job just to raid the recruiting class.

That would make the rivalry between Pitt and West Virginia even more heated. Backyard Brawl would turn into a good ole fashioned slobberknocker.

Had to use that term for Duff who is going to WWE. Does Jim Ross still announce?

I'm not sure, but I do know he has not moved his face in 13 years.

Pitt: As you may not know, We travel to Iowa City to play the Hawkeyes and since you have coached against them this year, we think you could offer a greater deal of insight than any other coach out there.

[Caller] Coach Rodriguez? This is the AD from the University of Pittsburg...
[RR] STOP ******* WITH ME FERENTZ!!!!!
[click - RR hangs up]
[Pittsburg AD] WTF was that???? Oh well. Who's next on the list?
 




I think RR will absolutely be offered the Pitt job. If I were him though I'd wait to see what happens with Harbaugh. I'd rather have the Stanford job than the Pitt job.

But for how much longer? The Pitt fans want him canned too! DickRod will not be the next HC of Pitt. If he wants to work next year it will be as an OC down South (SEC-ACC).
 


This is a phone call that some people spend their whole lives waiting for. The call from the University of Pittsburgh, The proud home of the Panthers.
 




Rich Rod fits in best in a place where he will need a long and controversial transition period with tons of players leaving, alienating alumni, and making everybody angry at the lack of results.

Anybody familiar with Pitt knows that they LOVE people from West Virginia. A new coach from there would fit in FINE.
