Just greedy play calling by Shanahan. They wanted to run up the score instead of protecting the lead they had.. When it was 28-3 I probably would have been calling off the dogs as far as the down field passing goes. It's not like they don't have a running game they have 2 darn good ones and even flipping them passes out of the backfield (like Brady did with White) would have been perfect for the situation. It's too bad that at no point in that 4th q they didn't revert to playing smart football. Don't get me wrong NE made all the plays they HAD to and that was awfully impressive. But it took ATL shooting themselves in the foot multiple possessions for that to even have had a chance at happening.
If the Falcons had KF as OC, they'd be SB champs

Our styles are just different. You like to nip around my ankle like a little yapper dog. I prefer just to unload square in the face one time like an attack dog. One could say im the big alpha dog and you are the loud mouth yapping little beta pup. I mean I personally wouldn't say that, but some might.

If Kirk would have been the Falcon's OC, the offensive line would have protected Ryan better, and he probably wouldn't have been strip fumbled nor would have been sacked to take the Falcons out of FG range at the end.

As bad as the game plan was in the second half, all we needed was KF to call the plays on that one drive to win the game. True, field goals aren't guaranteed, but if you've watched Matt Bryant much, you'd know he's just about as close as you can get. As a long time Falcons fan... this one still hurts!

In addition, I heard Ryan was taking snaps with like 16 seconds left on the play clock instead of letting it run down. Another Fo PA!
