That is Iowa's luck this season. Most things that could have gone poorly have, except for the road game at OSU and at home against UM.

At least 3 games to go, so this is still subject to change of course, but assuming Iowa holds serve and gets a 6 seed in the big dance, I thought it would be fun to look at who Iowa could potentially face in the first game or two.

This is based on Joe Lunardi's current bracketology seedings. I allowed a margin of error of +/- 1 seed. I.E. a 10 seed could slip to 11, a 12 could rise to 11. Based on that, here's a look at a pool of likely opponents, with the current projected seed listed.

I assume we won't get paired up with any Big Ten opponents in the first two rounds, so they aren't listed. I'm not sure if we'd get paired up with teams we've already played this year, either, but I included them anyway.

Who would you most/least like to get paired up with from this group? I'm not sure any of these 2 seeds are likely to drop to a 3.

only problem is we aren't getting a 6 seed. .Certainly don't deserve one. More like the 8-9 game or 7-10 unless we would win 3 BTT games. Sad, because should have been about a 4 seed. At this point don't care, just need to get in the tournament. don't lose to illinois and 1st round of BTT and hope to get in, and then complain when Dayton gets in instead!

At one point I wanted ISU. Now with how badly we've been playing I'm not feeling confident in any matchup.
