If College Football Programs were Businesses for Sale: Values

they do not exist, you can never utter their name, first time 1 week ban, 2nd one month, 3rd lifetime ban and your children will be cursed

Interesting stat. Glad to see the Hawks at 15. Question though, how can Florida State be so low at #54 at $23.6M?

How do programs with this much income keep their non-profit status?

I would guess, and its completely a guess, but I would think all the money gets funneled back into other sports and the school itself. Not to mention paying all the overhead costs.
I'm pretty sure that once you've been deemed a non-profit orginization you just have to show that your income matches your expenditures.

^ yeah, i'm sure rowing, gymnastics, baseball, and all that take away any excess pretty quickly. kinda like the bowl payout scenarios, you end up spending way more money than you make. this just means that some schools are REALLY in the red. that's why so many FCS schools are taking the huge payouts to get slaughtered by BCS teams.
