I would like to nominate Mesaclone.....

...as an official "want of bee".

If he keeps going, he may also reach the same status as the legendary mulvaspills.

What's a "want of bee"?

Butchering a well-known phrase by using similar-sounding words.

It started with somebody going on about somebody else being a "want of bee", when the correct word is "wannabe".

Or, using "pre-madonna", instead of "prima donna".

I wouldn't want to live in this world pre-madonna

I am starting to wonder if mesaclone is ever on any iowa state message boards, with the amount of time he spends here I am not sure it is possible

I used to see Mesa post elsewhere but now it seems he's gotten comfortable here. Not sure why.

I literally have 10 times more posts on ISU confidential than on this board. That said, I'm an Iowa alumni and a huge Hawkeye fan...just not as much as I am a Cyclone. Many don't like that "dual citizenship", but I am what I am.

I'd say you're more of a schitzo than anything. Either we are talking about head trauma, or you had a little too much fun in Iowa City with social chemicals. I have lived closer to Ames than IC my whole life, but I've always been more into pretty girls than which ever one was closest.

If you have posted 10 times more on ISU confidential, then you really need to get a life, cause you spend a lot of time over here. Try going outside once in awhile, it might help you get a better sense of reality.

Dude, I work full time for Homeland Security, am taking classes full time for my Master's Degree (in ancient history), and have 3 daughters and a wife. So, yeah, I get out and my life is incredibly busy...in a good way. When I'm bored and have down time...I chat about football. That's my recreation time. Plus I'm a bit of an insomniac.

As for schizophrenia...perhaps. I grew up going to ISU games and that will always be my first love in football. I went to school at Iowa and came to love the Hawks as well. And from out here in Arizona, at a distance, they both look pretty good to me.

Impressive, but...

...have you ever been in a cockpit before?...

...You ever seen a grown man naked?...

...Mesa, have you ever been in a... in a Turkish prison? :p

I can respect that, I am in the same position, except I am getting my masters in business leadership, and I don't work for homeland security. As you can tell, I sometimes check the boards on lunch or breaks.

When I lived in Eastern Iowa, ISU was hardly an afterthought; nobody really cared about what they were doing, and in some cases cheered for them to win to make the Hawks non-conference schedule look better. But once I moved to the DSM area and became friends with cyclone fans, I got so irritated with them talking about how their athletic department is better than Iowa's, and all the other crap that goes on between rivals. So I find it next to impossible to cheer for them based on the fans. Oh yeah, and I really don't like Jamie "the weasel" Pollard.
