Thats a terrible offensive PI call
Seriously? They are division one coaches. And they have no clus the talent they have? You are a dumb as rock or the staff is if they dont realize they may lose a guy in 3 years. But beyond that, they know they only have these guys for 4 years. Someone posted we a have a freshman coming. Okay, so we have TJ this season, who else? What if TJ gets hurt.
Are you that stupid to not realize this staff dropped the ball AGAIN?
ZERO people predicted TJ Hockenson to have the year he did. Find me one and I'll show you a liar.Seriously? They are division one coaches. And they have no clus the talent they have? Furthermore, EVERYONE LOSES PLAYERS. It's part of CFB.
There are about 5 teams every year who can sustain losses like 2 first round TEs and not miss a beat. Guess what? Iowa is not one of them.
I guess that ass backwards logic makes sense if you're an idiot, but I can't stick my head that far up my ass.So you just discounted your previous post. Its college football. Quit wasting schollies on kickers and punters.
If you think that this staff has a clue, you are as clueless as they are.
Which I think you are after you just made the counter point to your point.

He switched to TE after the 2016 season . Christ it’s his third year in the program as a TE and he switched from Wide Receiver!!!!! He couldn’t beat out a walk on with zero production in his fourth year who doesn’t get the ball thrown to him . Do you even watch football?I guess that ass backwards logic makes sense if you're an idiot, but I can't stick my head that far up my ass.
Beyer has been cleared to play and still can’t pass up a walk on who never gets the ball .I think they expected Beyer to be healthier (he has shown flashes of promise), and they didn't expect to lose TWO to the first round, PLUS another to leaving. Not hard to understand.
So much of this is wrong but okay.He switched to TE after the 2016 season . Christ it’s his third year in the program as a TE and he switched from Wide Receiver!!!!! When you are 3 for 12 on third down conversions almost every game I think all of the above mentioned targets should see less targets . The TE’s need to be more involved. I wasn’t even talking about Cook . So I’m not wrong about the assessment of the TE positionSo much of this is wrong but okay.
Wieting was our 2nd leading receiver against PSU and is targeted regularly.
Beyer is our 2nd TE and is regularly in the game as both a blocker and a receiver.
BEYER has been a TE for 3 years and is just a Jr.
DREW COOK just switched last year, which makes up all your upperclassman TEs.
On top of ALL of that, with the way our WRs have been playing, who's touches do you take away to give to a TE?
ISM? Smith? Ragaini? Tracy? Goodson?

We were 24th nationally on 3rd down conversions at 46.39% coming into today. Your gripe should be with the 3rd and short playcalling (which is atrocious), not the TE usage.
They should go hand in hand . What’s our percentage pre big 10? That number seems skewed."almost every game"

exactly. it's so easy to do, isn't it.When have they ever been called good programs?
he's passed out until mondayWaiting for motiger to reply.
The TE moves the chains . We aren’t throwing to them this year . I’m only talking this season .Playcalling and oline play has a lot more to do with 3rd down struggle than position target, imo.
Plenty of issues to be critical of on offense. TE play, production is about 4th or 5th on the list. We have had an embarrassment of riches at TE for most of the last 20 years.
why do they have lots of turnover at their coaching positions? can't develop players? can't win consistently? can't .... what? you make the call.Yep, and they had lots of turnover at their coaching positions. We have not. So where is the problem? IS it turnover or no turnover?
